Whilst visiting my local Chanel counter I stumbled upon these little gems, basically they are long
Wear luminous eyeshadows. What they mean by that is they are sort of multidimensional (massive word for me) which in my terms are they are not one flat colour but they have at least three other colours mixed in with them. They come in a lovely black and gold square box, and you get a little Chanel brush with it. When you first open the pot the first thing I thought was they looked like the things bank clerks used to use to count money, I can't remember what they are called but they were
wet and the clerk used to dip there hand in them and count.
You can use your finger to apply the eyeshadow or a brush, I find both are fine, if you use a light swatch you get a light shimmer of colour, and if you want a more intense look you just layer up the look. The best things with these shadows are you can double it up as a liner and that looks really lovely... I've got three of them at the moment in the colours Illusoire, Mirifique, and Ebloui, and honestly they are my favourite and the effects are amazing, My favourite is Ebloui the reason for that is its purple toned with bits of silver and green in sounds weird but gorgeous. For the perfect smokey rocking eye it has to be Mirifique it's like a dark smokey colour and is a class eyeliner to,
The chanel.com website has a range of other colours which I've noticed a pinky salmon toned shadow and there is a gold coloured one and a nice khaki shade, I think I'm going to have to invest in these they are such a good buy as they do last on the eyelid, you don't get the irritating fall out of the shadow and you can layer them and use as eyeliner.
Credit where due they are worth the price tag of £ 24.00
I'm not affiliated with Chanel and I would speak honestly if I had used something that wasn't worth the money, no matter how expensive or Cheap the item is if it's good I will say, and if its bad I will also say.
But with anything I would always recommend testing first so go into Chanel and have a look first.
Have you tried any? What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by, I'd love to hear your comments
