A Hair Masque That Works

If your a constant hair dyer like me you know how drying this can make your hair.  In terms of dyeing it I've recently had it bleach bathed from dark brown to light so I could go auburn so my hair is very brittle. I'm not straightening it as I think it would fall out if I did anymore to it.

As a beauty blogger hmmmm can I call
myself that well I hope so, I've done lots of hair masque research like
googling mad allsorts of brands, reviews
To see what could help my battered hair.

And I came up with Moroccanoil Restorative Masque, it's the same with any product there is pluses and negatives not everyone is going to get on with a product but some people will love it.

In my experience the first thought is
the negative as the price is over whelming as it costs £30 for the tub which scares you as obviously you want it to work for that price.  A few people
commented saying they didn't like the smell saying it was over powering.

My thoughts are the smell is lovely like a holiday smell, the masque is thick and creamy.  I washed my hair towel dried it and then spread a generous amount through my hair left it on overnight and rinsed it off in the morning.  My hair felt literally amazing so soft and silky to touch.
I don't think this would be the one to use if your hair is healthy there is a hydrating masque that would work for this, the restorative one is for your hair to be rebuilt with protein.
I think this masque is amazing and really helping my hair and I love it, once my hair gets to health I think il switch to the hydrating one.

Ten Minute Makeup Tips

Nothing like being pushed for time in the morning but mastering your makeup in quick time is not for the faint hearted.

So I'm showed you some products I may use on a typical morning and then go.

I usually slaver a primer on first to make sure my makeup stays in place all day, then go from there.

If your in a hurry I usually blend my eye makeup in with my ring finger who says you can't, the day eye makeup I use is cream anyway so it blends nicely.

If I were to leave anything out it wouldn't be mascara or eyeliner!!!

If your in a hurry what could you leave out?

Do You Have A Favourite Lipstick

Morning lovelies hope your all ok. As summer is on it's way out and autumn is edging in, trends and colours will start changing, I normally adapt makeup to these changes as long as I like them.

Is there one item in your makeup bag that's your favourite? Is it a powder eyeshadow or lipstick?

I have a favourite lipstick which is MYSTIQUE by CHANEL, it's my favourite because it's light but not too light and it's the most pretty shade.  I wear this one and it instantly makes me feel girly.

Do you love anything that gives you a pick up when you wear it.

Why Is Foundation Buying Addictive

I don't think I'm the only one that's got a collection of foundations I'm sure many readers have.

Why do we do this? Well my reasons I get really bored of a particular shade! Or I get bored of the texture or colour. Or my skin freaks out and I feel like the foundation isn't doing it for me anymore.

I am a bit of sucker for new releases and I've seen nice looking foundations on the market from DIOR and YSL lately  i haven't tested either as yet: keep me away from the counters.

I am getting braver and doing more things foundation free but my daughter says I look weird so I kind of reach for a foundation again, the trouble is which one to chose.

Are you the same with foundations?

Life Lately And Hair Issues

I'm having my current usual hair dilemmas and bored of my current colour.
This has been how I've been since I was about 12 years old never happy with my hair and it's carried on right till now.

I've been every colour brown blonde black red but never pink or a way out colour because my job wouldn't allow for a way out colour.

I've recently written about how I've gone from long to a jaw length bob, the colours brown with gold highlights but I'm just BORED.

I think my poor hairdresser must think there's something wrong with me as I change my hair so much,  maybe I should have been a hair dresser!!!!

So what to do, do I stay brown or go back to ginger hair.  Why do I like ginger hair well it's different and brighter waaaaaaa I don't know what to do.

Thoughts and comments welcome

Yankee Candle Vanilla & Cocoa Bean Reeds

I love Yankee Candles they smell amazing mostly it's only the odd few that smell I like toilet block.

I particularly like the Reeds they have I bought the Cocoa Bean & Vanilla they look classy and don't look out of place in my bedroom.
I don't like anything that's too over powering in my bedroom as it's my little place of calm and I like to chill out there in my sanctuary so these are perfect for that.

I also work in my bedroom so you can see that they are placed by my computer they don't get up my nose when I'm working they actually chill me out if that makes sense.
